Narrated by Abu Hurairah ra:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
“Whoever takes (borrows) the money of the people with the intention of repaying it, Allah will repay it on his behalf (Allah will help him), and whoever takes it in order to spoil it, then Allah will spoil him.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
– Allah will forgive all the sins of a believer, if he wishes, except for debts
– Do not take loans for luxury
– Always write it down even if it’s a penny as the full account will have to be given on the day of Judgement
– The only way to settle debts on the day of Judgement is by trading good deeds – Thawaab (ثواب).
